Quality review or inspection
Refers to procedures employed in a review of completed work or engagements designed to ensure compliance with IT assurance standards, and related quality control policies and procedures of the organisation. Quality reviews can be performed by different levels of staff members and at different times during the assurance work or at its completion. Quality reviewers must possess sufficient knowledge to assess compliance with professional and organisational policies and standards as well as knowledge of the subject matter to assess appropriateness of the criteria selected and the auditioning procedures performed.
